The Road Less Traveled

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Nauvoo!

I love the midwest, it is so beautiful! The highlight of the summer was a trip to Nauvoo, Illinois. We hadn't been in 8 years! (When we lived in Iowa it was only 3 hours away)

Such a pretty drive up there.

The temple!

Many awesome, restored homes and shops to tour

Lots of free plays, games, wagon rides, etc. etc.

David was a natural at this...

Something I love about Ammon is his love for people. At one restraunt he went up and started talking to the couple next to us, making friends and getting to know them. He really enjoys that.

Before the Nauvoo Pageant, I saw this little boy sitting out in the woods nearby,

They've got this awesome, awesome "fun fair" with all sorts of things to do, all for free; making souveniers, dancing, cutting wood, golly just lots of fun stuff.my pioneer girlthe scottish band
The pageant was great, all live acting (the only church pageant done so)
The build a temple on stage, then it goes down and behind it the reall temple lights up... it's just amazing. It was such a great trip! Looking forward to going back!!
